at Carnforth Heritage Centre

This is a gem of an art gallery, where 14 local artists display their quality work. Inspired by the local landscapes, their paintings, prints and photographs often depict local scenes, flora and fauna and local heritage. In addition 4 local makers display beautiful pieces that you will not find elsewhere. Creations Gallery is the ideal place to find a memento of your stay, a special gift or a unique piece to enhance your home.

MANY LOCAL SCENES from the beautiful villages and the countryside of North Lancashire, Arnside & Silverdale National Landscape, Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District National Park.

We hope you will come to see us soon at Carnforth Railway Station and Heritage Centre. We are a stone's throw from the Heritage Centre where you can learn about Carnforth's history and heritage as an important railway town and its association with the classic film 'Brief Encounter'.  The popular Brief Encounter Bistro is also on the site.
